The SHBAM Peace Vigil Group holds regular events to which all Friends are most welcome to attend. They stand silently, holding the lovely Godalming peace banner and hand out peace testimony leaflets to anyone who shows interest. They are held at the top of Guildford High Street, opposite Abbot's Hospital. / They also have a WhatsApp group which all interested Friends are welcome to join.

For those considering membership, but it is equally valuable if you are simply curious and would like to deepen their understanding of Quaker faith and practice. The course, across two Saturdays, is aimed primarily at those new, or fairly new, to Quakerism. Numbers will be limited to ensure everyone has a chance to contribute, but if space allows, we also welcome those who have attended for a while and would like to learn more.
Together, we will explore:
Quaker past and future;
Quaker worship;
Quaker process;
Quaker living.
